Pandemic Rationalities
Print instalation
Cafe Oto, London: 2021. 06.09 - 2022.07.29

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for people all over the world. The virus has had a significant impact on people's health, their livelihoods, and their daily routines.

The uncertainty and unpredictability of the pandemic have left many people feeling fearful and distressed. With all the conflicting information and rumours circulating, it has been challenging for people to know what to believe or who to trust.

Many people have not felt supported by their governments or other authorities. This lack of support has exacerbated feelings of anxiety and stress, leaving people feeling isolated and alone.
The posters created in response to this situation aim to provide some psychological support and encouragement.

They serve as a reminder that we are all in this together and that we belong to a community. By promoting positive and inspirational thoughts, the posters encourage people to focus on the things that they can control, rather than feeling overwhelmed by the things they cannot.

Self portraits and motivational text printed on four  fly posters which was pasted on boarded windows during the first Covid-19 lockdown in 2020,
Commisioned by Bootstrap Charity.
Curated by Studio Nihilities 2021.
